Lund House Reviews

Lund House is a high spec property with an excellent living room and very large, comfortable bedrooms. The kitchendining room is also of a good standard, although it's layout is not the most practical for a large group of people using it at the same time. The stairs to the top floor are very steep and unsuitable for elderly people, although this was manageable as the younger generation could stay there. The hot tub is great and we enjoyed the town of Ulverston, with the house in a decent location to access the town and nearby retail park.
A fantastic property with lots of space and a good amount of seating for our large family group. Beds were very comfortable great to have 2 ensuite rooms and everything was spotless. We also loved the hot tub. Just to note the stairs to the top floor really are steep which was fine for us but may be a consideration for others. Location was spot on for us just on the outskirts of Ulverston which is a really lovely town and well in reach of Windermere.
The house was a perfect size for my family stay. The outside area is a good space for children and dogs. The hot tub was perfect. All the rooms were really comfortable, tastefully decorated and well organised with plenty of space for us all. The stair and hall carpets were rather stained and the woodwork could do with a touch up as it made the interior look a bit scruffy. A small cleaning issue was that one of the bedroom bins had a nappy left in it but otherwise the rooms were nice and clean. The top floor bathroom lock and the downstairs toilet door need some attention as the children got stuck which caused a little distress. I hope the neighbours werent affected by us as they were 10 of us, 4 of which were excited children. We all had a lovely time, thank you.
