Just returned home from a week staying in the Beach House. It is a beautiful house with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Warm and cosy even though it was January! Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it and will be returning soon!

Fantastic location so close to the beach and The Landing and easy access to the other pubs in the village. Really light and airy. Overall very comfortable and well kitted out. Loved the log burner. Easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 dogs. Will definitely be back next year. Unfortunately had to keep our dogs on leads on the large grassed areas as so many rabbits!!!!!

We have stayed at this property as a family group last year so we have something to compare it to. This year we found that the house was not as clean as last year. There is a very full kitchen with everything you could need, although with such good eating options in Beadnell and within a short walk, there isnt much need to cook. The location is brilliant, especially if, like us, you walk along the beach for miles and miles. What we felt let it down this year, were the beds. They felt rather well worn in the middle, especially the twin room. The girls sleeping there did not have such a good rest as last year. The new rug in the living room is very slippery on the floor and we had several near misses. It definitely needs something to stop the slipping. We also were slightly annoyed that not all the dining plates fit in the dishwasher irritating when its full and dirty!

We have stayed at this property a number of times and others on the site but we noticed a huge improvement this visit. It was lovely before but had many new additions that really perfected the property. Lovely cushions, rugs and a new carpet being a few. The kitchen was well equipped, nothing we couldnt find. Plenty of glasses, plates and cups. Tennis rackets, yoga mat, candles everything. The place was spotless when we arrived and we really enjoyed our trip. Thank you

Amazing place, really loved it.

This is a lovely and very well kitted out cottage. We felt very comfortable and at home here with everything you need for catering for a family holiday. It was comfortable for the five of us, however Im not sure how comfortable it would be for 7 adults in the sitting room. Its great that dogs are accepted in a beautiful cottage so often people with dogs are left with very old and worn out furniture, thank you for that. We will definitely come back as we felt very comfortable. The only thing that we didnt like were the flat bottom sheets on the beds. They kept slipping during the night and were quite annoying. You may want to have a look at the middle support of the curtain rail by the dining table, its very wobbly. The downstairs bedroom needs a lightbulb in the ceiling light.

Beautiful beach house in a great location, perfect for a family get together. The property was beautifully clean. Lovely welcome touches provided by the owner, which included a hamper as we were Christmas guests. That was a good indication of the owners commitment to their guests enjoying their stay. No hesitation in recommending the property to anyone looking for a holiday retreat.

Ideal beach house in excellent location , high standard of furnishings and cleanliness , would book again. However there were issues Major the heating wasnt working on arrival , and to bathe 2 children we needed to boil kettles. We reported the problem shortly after arrival , the heating was repaired on Saturday at 11am. Minor on arrival we noted that the curtain rail in the main bedroom needed fixing , as well as the shower head in the main bathroom.

We had our first stay at the Beach House 12th19th May 2023. I say first, because we would love to return. The house is spacious, light filled and with its open plan layout designed for modern living. With every comfort catered for, it is the perfect place to kick back and relax in. We know the area well and it is ideally situated for beach walks and activities or alternatively trips into the Northumberland hills. There are just the right amount of cafe and dining options in Beadnell for when cooking on holiday is just too much work without it being overly crowded and Seahouses is a very short drive away to cater for most whims and needs.
