Oldfield House, Windermere

Oldfield House is a traditional stone property sleeping eight guests in Windermere, Cumbria. This spacious retreat sits in the heart of the town, perfect for groups wanting easy access to shops, restaurants and pubs. Four en-suite bedrooms mean no morning bathroom queues, whilst the open-plan kitchen and dining area keeps everyone together.

Windermere offers excellent walking routes right from the doorstep. Longer hikes into the fells are just a short drive away. The town itself provides everything you need within half a mile.

The accommodation features two king-size bedrooms and two double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. Three rooms have shower facilities whilst one offers a bathroom with height restrictions above the bath. There's also a separate WC. The open-plan kitchen comes fully equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The living room has a Smart TV and plenty of sofa space for the whole group. Private parking for two cars is included.

Bowness-on-Windermere lies just one mile away (5 minutes). The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is equally close (5 minutes). Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre sits three miles distant (10 minutes). Hill Top, Beatrix Potter's former home, is twelve miles away (25 minutes).

Oldfield House works brilliantly for groups of friends or extended families. The en-suite bedrooms and central location make this an excellent base for exploring the Lakes.
