We have arrived back home from a week stay on Friday 29th July and I would just like to say that myself and family were quite disappointed with the site and accommodation. We did not feel what was advertised was a true reflection of the site. We did not expect to have to tell the children to stay away from rubbish and the remains of old pods as there was broken plastic, large screws etc. We were also disappointed with the amount of problems we came across in the lodge which we spoke to owner about. We shouldn't have had to lock the door with a chair, have a bedroom door with 1 handle or not be able to have a bath because it didnt keep water in. We even had to turn a mattress over as the springs were poking through and that is to only list a few. So disappointing.

We had a fantastic stay. There were a couple of small problems but were sorted out immediately. I will definitely be recommending Box Tree Escapes. Theres only one little thing to note and that is the lack of hanging space for clothes in the room with bunk beds. The room isnt big enough for a wardrobe but maybe a hanging bar behind the door on the wall instead. Fantastic stay and we will be rebooking

Great location and facilities. Freshly laid stoned drive was issue as brought white staining into cabin. No mop for floor. However am sure once rolled and sealed will remove issue. We had a great weekend break, first time whole family been together since last summer, so was great to see them all laughing etc. More memories made, photos taken.

The place is well equipped with the essentials and fisied off at a high standard. Remote and private so you can chill out and enjoy the hottub without any issues. We had a wonderful stay at the roeburn lodge with the family for my 65th birthday. It was a wonderful place and had everything we needed for a great stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely think about returning! A lovely, relaxing, cosy place to stay!
