The Coach House Reviews

Property was great for a multigenerational family holiday, beautiful location and plenty of space. It did lack the personal touch with no welcome packmilkbiscuitssalt and peppercooking oil etc. which have often been available in other places we have stayed. Kitchen was well equipped but did not have a potato peeler. Microwave very temperamental. No soap in some ensuites and shower tray very slow to drain in bedroom above the kitchen. We loved the grounds and tree swing and location was perfect.
The coach was a great location to host a family holiday with our two daughters, their spouses and children. The property is big, big enough for the grandchildren to play unhindered and not under the feet of the adults but within supervision range. The extensive gardens and play area also allowed for excess energy to be burnt off. Location wise, Belford is close to Bamburgh and Llindisfarn plus other coastal villages. We also squeezed a great value day return for everyone from Berwick to Edinburgh on the train.

Did not resemble the listing at all, in a state of extreme disrepair cracked hob and glass door to woodburner, lights not working, showers mouldy, furniture falling apart! I had to clean before letting my young grandchildren in. Woods mostly felled & what remains is difficult to access no fishing pegs or access to lake, dirty property, unsafe steps and pathswe suffered injury on uneven, mossy path, no signage. No adequate response from Manager who was not on site to speak with. The beds were clean
Caroline
A very spacious family friendly holiday home for a week. We had everything we could possibly need plus sunny Northumberland skies. The Coach House is in a perfect area to explore from and return to and relax. The children loved the play area but even more the stick swing hanging from a tree! Would love to return again in the future. Thank you Middleton Hall Sarah for a wonderful holiday.
Christopher
Really enjoyed our time at the Coach House. Mr Messenger and Sarah were always helpful, very friendly and keen to make any improvements. An excellent large fridge was brilliant for a party of ten....as were the laundry facilities in the utility room.
