On arriving the heating and hot water were not working. This resulted in the house being very cold until The next day when the guy arrived to fix it. We also Had no hot water until after mid day on our second day. This was not ideal as we wanted to go out early.

Muscle Shoals is conveniently located in the heart of Seahouses. Close to the harbour pubs and supermarkets. Yet pleasantly quiet We had a slight hiccup at the beginning which was dealt with efficiently. The beds are comfortable. Cleanliness excellent. All in all a enjoyable stay. We have rebooked for next year.

We loved our stay here! Muscle Shoals is a gorgeous, spacious holiday home and we loved being able to walk to the village centre, beaches and swimming pool, as well as driving out for a day trip to Alnwick. Would definitely look to stay here again.

A beautiful location, Muscle Shoals was very clean and incredibly well equipped with plenty of equipment. Everything was fabulous and we would love to visit again sometime soon as we had such a great time. Thought the visitor book was brilliant with the section on recommendations as we used a number of them. Would highly recommend.

The property was in a perfect location. It was very well equipped with everything you might want. The area was quiet and it was a short stroll to the harbour and the shops. Ruth in the office was very efficient when we asked for help with the lock on the conservatory door.

Everything was as it looked in the photos. Well equipped , clean, roomy and very warm. More central to shops,pubs,harbour etc. than I was expecting. No problem with parking , both in the allocated spot or outside the front of the house. We had such a good time and would all visit again, including the dog!

Brilliant cottage, deceptively bigger than it appears. Very clean with good artwork on the walls. It is very local to the shops and the beach with a fully enclosed safe garden for our dogs. The parking permit for our 2nd car was only used to park in the seahouses car park a couple of times but was useful when we were out and about in the other car parks it could be used in. My only negative comment is the settee and cuddle chair are very low down and more or less impossible for some of our party to sit in as we just couldn't get off them without a pull up. But there are 4 comfortable chairs in the conservatory that we ended up using. Would definitely return if settee replaced. Very cosy cottage.

Fully equipped and stocked kitchen and spare towelsbedding etc. Both entrance doors need adjusting and some internal doors a little oil to stop them squeaking. We really enjoyed our stay for the week and hopefully will be back again. Would recommend this property 100.

Cosy and warm. Surprisingly spacious and tastefully designed. Easy arrival and departure. The location was perfect, in the middle of the town and close to the harbour. We had a great week here with our brown family. Fabulous food in the local pubs and restaurants, great wind blown walks along the beach and plenty of local villages and towns to visit. Wonderful

Beautiful house and perfect walking distance to the harbour and shops, we have stayed in a few places in Bamburgh and Seahouses and this has been our favourite it is so cosy and homely after a long day at the beach! Found the washing machine and dryer super handy and also the coffee machine. Will definitely stay again.

The house was just as we had hoped, for a family holiday and ideally placed for access into the town. It was very well maintained and comfy. The games were perfect for family fun in the evenings and on rainy days. The parking facility needs to be made a little clearer, as one car can fit in the drive behind the house, with the 2nd parking space in the middle of 2 others alongside the house more suitable to a smaller car rather than larger SUV. The parking which was available some days in front of the house was fine, and we did use the carpark in town overnight too twice. The garden area is perfect and safe for our little dog too. We would definitely like to return again soon.

Great place to stay, very spacious and very well equipped. Only negatives we had was it wasnt the cleanest we have stayed in. The hoover that was there didnt work. We were also asked how we would like the bed set up in the double room, we asked for 2 singles but on arrival it was set up as a double, however none of this would stop us from staying there again. Overall, an enjoyable holiday.

As a party of six adults and two small dogs we were overall impressed with Muscle Shoals. Very spacious and well equipped holiday house. Unfortunately microwave was not working over our stay and as I understand was to be fixed on day of our departure. Comfortable beds with lovely fresh linen and fluffy towels supplied. Nice patio area with comfortable furniture. Cosy conservatory with seating if too chilly to be outside. Muscle Shoals very central for shops and pubs close by. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

The property was amazing. We loved the house and there were different areas for family to play board games, sit and read or eat. We were a three generation family enjoying a lovely Easter break. We took advantage of the swimming pool access and took our seven year old granddaughter swimming twice when it was a wet day.

We had a wonderful stay at Muscle Shoals. It was very cosy and comfortable. The bedding and towels were high quality. The location was fab as just a short stroll to the beach and the pub and the area was quiet. The house had great facilities and was well equipped. The conservatory got lots of sunshine in the afternoon which was lovely and it was great to have a designated parking space too. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful cottage. This cottage couldn't have given us anymore than the owners have provided, we have just come back from Muscle Sholes from a week away with friends, the fishing harbour is literally a 2 minute walk away from the front door, lots of local pubs and shops to explore. This is a great location for the beach which stretches for miles and is only a 10 minute walk away. Anyone that chooses to stay here will not be disappointed we certainly weren't

We found the property to be as we hoped for and the gifts left were lovely. The location is superb with easy walking distance to Restaurants, Town, Harbour and beach walks. The kitchendining area is brilliant, but the seating for relaxing in the lounge was a bit of a struggle for 4 adults and 2 children. It is only a minor issue as there are enough seats but not positioned well if you want to watch TV in the evening. for anyone thinking just move the seats, it is not possible due to design Everything else was brilliant and the amount of crockery was unbelievable,,,,in a good way lots of it We would like to thank the owners as it does appear that they have thought out well what is required for their guests. We had a lovely week. Thank You

Another fab stay at muscle shoals, they had literally thought of everything you might need. Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Will defo be back. Only issues we had were the upstairs toilet seat was broken and kept coming off and also the king Suze bed had not been made into a twin as requested. All in all a lovely weekend away!

The house was beautiful and comfortable and had all the facilities. We did find that the loo seat was broken on arrival and the microwave stopped working , these were reported but unfortunately no one came to fix them whilst we were there. Lovely area to explore and we have booked again for next year .
