Really enjoyed our stay. Full of character & property situated in a lovely area! Goodies left was a nice touchwould stay again no problem!
Georgina
Beautiful, well equipped, warm cottage ideal for families. We had a great time at this cottage. Bedrooms were comfortable with excellent quality bedding. Everywhere was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with an excellent range of utensils, crockery and cooking equipment. Well equipped main bathroom with fast flowing hot water. Games room is a separate annexe with shower, loo and heating. Kids had a great time in there. A peaceful location, yet plenty to see and do within a short drive. Would highly recommend.
Frederick
Stoneycross cottage was warm comfortable with plenty of games options for the family. We spent more time indoors than planned due to the weather and appreciated all aspects of the accommodation. There was one occasion when a lighting circuit tripped and the owner was round to sort it within 10 minutes. The only negative was having to go outside to the annex to do the washing when the weather was bad. Overall we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone

This place is a gem. Plenty of room for 7 adults to stretch out and relax. Beautiful country views from the rooms and kitchen very well appointed. Only wish we stayed longer. Very well located
Felicity
Property was lovely and brilliant hosts. Beautiful views with cows in the field! The property had nice touches like fresh flowers and a lovely welcome basket. Felt they provided good value for money. They provided little things that make a big difference like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. All the beds were really comfortable. The bed linen was a high quality and the towels were lovely and thick. They also didnt skimp on them they provided everyone a bath sheet, towel and hand towel. The property was well placed to explore the area. We went all over from the local Longridge to Boundary Mill. Travelled to loads of places with the dogs for lovely walks. The cottage was well equipped. Loved the games room. Also handy it had a washer and a dryer. The property was spacious and you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. Had an issue with the cooker which stopped working. The host came around straight away to check and to get an engineer. They went above and beyond to resolve the issue and offered to cook our meal or make us something. They made us a lovely hotpot! All in all we had a lovely stay and if we were in the area again we would definitely stay here.

What a lovely cottage stoneycross is! We booked the cottage for my mums 70th so we could celebrate together, all 7 of us ranging from 3 years old to 70. The cottage was immaculate and the gift pack left on the kitchen table was a wonderful surprise, so many delicious snacks and fresh bread. The kitchen was stocked with essentials too, although we had brought our own too as we weren't sure what to expect. The place was really spacious, and the kids particularly loved the games room. The beds were super comfy and the shower was great too. I was desperate to try the large bath with the beautiful views, although I didn't have the time, my mum did and she loved it. We just wished we'd booked for longer! We definitely want to come back, just need to make up an occasion now. Thank you Peter and Kathryn for a wonderful stay!
Lovely cottage, well equipped and very spacious. The main lounge large, having a second and the gaming annex very useful. Beds very comfy. Good location for exploring Ribble valley and forest of Bowland
Weve just returned from a lovely stay at Stoneycross Cottage. The cottage was exactly as described.. comfortable, wellequipped, and full of charm. The games den was a fantastic addition and provided plenty of entertainment. The surrounding scenery was absolutely stunning, and we especially loved seeing the cows and sheep each day.. it really added to the peaceful countryside experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
