What an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Lovely welcome on arrival and we were able to use the pool on our first night which was very much appreciated. The house was so comfortable, loads of rooms for everyone and well equipped. Having the utility room was fantastic for drying off pool towels. The pool was utterly amazing, games room fantastic and catered for everyone, tennis courts, football pitch â?¦ we didnâ??t need to leave for the whole weekend. So much fun to be had and we had the best weekend. The rota system worked well for use of the pool/games room. Whilst we didnâ??t make use of the garden, it looked a perfect spot for a bbq. We stayed in Lower Gill Farmhouse for our annual family girls weekend and we had such a great time we have already booked for next year. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and catered perfectly for big groups, adequate crockery and two kettles etc. The location could not have been better and we were very lucky with the weather which allowed us to spend much of our time sitting in the courtyard. Pool facilities were an added bonus and a lovely dinner in the nearby Plough pub really rounded off a fantastic weekend!

I went with my daughter, son in law and 4 grandchildren aged 13 to 20. And my 2 dogs. We got snowed in which was amazing as it meant we had even more quality family time. The farm house was amazing , we loved the age of it and its quaint features. Underfloor heating was a god send. Bedrooms all clean and comfy. The swimming pool was amazing, clean and warm. The games room was perfect just need couple of new pool/ snooker cues. The location is great if you really want to get away from everyday life. Be prepared to drive if you want a meal out, shopping etc. we were more than happy to stay out for our 3 night stay. Wi-Fi generally good occasionally dipped. Lounge was so comfy for the 7 of us and the dogs. We did pay for extra logs which needed drying out but given the weather understandable. We would definitely go back again. We have had a wonderful weeks stay to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a mix of ages from 8 to 91 but the house suited everyone. Downstairs room was perfect for my disabled gran. The owner was friendly and available on site answering questions before and during our holiday. Towels and essentials provided. The location is beautiful and very tranquil but that means there is a drive to most places although garden centre close by does lovely food. On site pool and games room was wonderful and again spotlessly clean....the timetable for private use was great! I have already recommended to lots of friends as the house was excellent value for money! Ingleton falls and bolton abbey are a great day out if you enjoy walking
