Eider Cottage Reviews

This is a beautiful cottage with every comfort provided. The very large attic room was a special space and our grandchildren loved that space. I loved the separate heating thermostat on each floor. Even during storm Dave the sun shone in the kitchen, it is a sunny warm spot. The insulation is excellent. Highly recommend this cottage.
We loved our stay at Eider Cottage. Everything was exactly as described. Perfect location, warm and comfortable, well equipped kitchen and great quality bedding everything we needed for a lovely family break.....and 3 doors away from the pub too!
Loved our stay at Eiger Cottage and would recommend it for the facilities and location without hesitation. A couple of niggles on arrival that could have been prevented if the changeover had been more thorough ensure rubbish removed from wheelie bins so we had some space, heating controls reset from previous occupants so we could follow welcome manual instructions, outside lightbulb replaced, wood available for fire.. Quick responses from tel numbers in welcome book and didnt affect our enjoyment for rest of stay.
A lovely cottage and ideal for a family get together including a 9 week old baby. All facilities and equipment excellent although we found the heating a little puzzling, and the recycling instructions were impossible to understand. There was a major search on arrival for the welcome book maybe you could leave it somewhere obvious in future rather than on the bottom shelf of the cupboard in the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!
From the moment we stepped through the door we thought it was all so lovely. Tasteful decor and furniture, a lovely log burner with a supply of logs which enabled us to have a fire every night. We enjoyed it so much we hope to return.

A well appointed and spotless cottage. Very comfortable and plenty of room for 8 mature ladies. A superb welcome pack and nice private outdoor space. Would highly recommend

Excellent stay. Very comfortable and with 3 bathrooms brilliant for grandparent and adult children. Lots of room to spread out. Spotless and has good kitchen facilities.
Michael
Really cannot fault the property. Its absolutely ideal and provided everything a group of 6, across 3 generations, could need. Would definitely book again.

This is a fabulist holiday home in a great location. 7 girls together celebrating a 60th birthday had all the facilities you would require a couple of minor issues, fridge filled with water and side shelf broken but only found that out when we started to put things in and they fell out, tv not set up so took a while to sort out but we realised the aerial wasnt plugged in but no instructions, tv also tripped when we used the iron but we managed from instructions book to find the trip board. I really couldnt fault the accommodation, the things about the fridge are just wear & tear items property has a high standard. The hamper was a fabulous treat and very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again
Lovely cottage in great location.
Rebecca
Beautiful house in a beautiful village.
Elizabeth
Beautiful house, in a great location. Lots of space and very well equipped.
This is a lovely property which is kept in immaculate condition.
I think this is easily the best holiday cottage we have stayed in! Furnishings, cleanliness, towels, bed linen, toiletries, welcome hamper, location, space for a family with grown up children, their partners and a dog were all fantastic! We spent a long time choosing a cottage that would meet our needs and were very happy with the result!
Andrea
Fantastic property right in the centre of Warkworth. Large bedrooms and bathrooms it was perfect for our family stay. The owners were very responsive and solved an issue straight away! They also left a lovely welcome package. Would definitely return.
