Great place to stay for a midwinter visit to family. Cozy, stylish and homely, lovely rooms that are spacious and warm, with beautiful furniture and linen. For those that want to know comfortable beds, erring towards soft rather than firm. Ground floor bedroom and shower room worked well accompanying grandparent in their 80s. Well equipped kitchen, and a much appreciated selection of welcoming provisions. Generous parking, space for 3. Close to the coast, walkable for most people, though we did not walk much due to snow and ice! Would be brilliant for holiday stays. Convenient walk to local stores supermarket, takeaways. Minor gripes lack of tumble dryer listed in the description as we were travelling internationally for several weeks and specifically booked in part due to this facility being available.
Lovely place to have an extended family Christmas. Kitchen has everything we needed.

What a lovely home. It had everything you could wish for. It is beautifully renovateddecorated. Great off street parking. Good location for Tynemouth & Whitley Bay, as well as exploring further afield. We would definitely visit again.
We had a wonderful stay, the house was spacious, and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable, and there was a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the entire house. Towels were provided, space for 3 cars on the drive which was great, as we didn't have to worry about parking. Lovely welcome gifts, which was very nice. Ideal location, short drive to the beach, large supermarket Morrisons just up the road. We stay innear North shields about 3 times a year, so I will definitely be looking to book this one again, and would highly recommend it.

A lovely property with plenty of space for our family. Close to the supermarket which had a petrol station and in terms of walking to the shop was only about 3 minutes, its that close. Also close to the local Miller and Carter pub. 5 minutes drive to the beach and local ice rink. Very close to family we were visiting. The Prosecco and sweetschocolate were a lovely additional touch. Had all the facilities we needed and were very happy here. So much so, we have booked to return next summer

Lovely property with great facilities for a family of 5 and a perfect location for the wonderful nearby coastal towns. The property host was extremely helpful and dealt with a problem we encountered perfectly well and quickly. The visitor guide made some great food recommendations and the rear garden is a lovely sun trap for enjoying an evening meal.
This is not a 8 person house. Would accomodate 7 people to sleep. Having said that the kitchen was really not big enough for 7 or even 8 people . Very tight and lots of doors. No work surface to put food on. Lots of cups and glasses ,too many. No small pan and no frying pan. Having said that the owner did bring round a frying pan so could prepare breakfast. Radiator in one of the bedrooms was badly rusted and leaked. Tumble dryer could only be connected via a large extension reel running into the bedroom. Ridiculous. However the property was clean and the beds comfortable. Tv was great as had sky. Owner nice lady.
Lovely stay. I was concerned looking at the photos of the house how 7 people were going to fit in so was absolutely delighted to see the table extended and set for 7 and extra chairs in lounge, the house was very comfortable and we had a super week there, will book again in the future.

Great property, the downstairs bedroom was really useful for us, good powerful water, comfortable beds, very clean, well stocked kitchen! Would stay here again! Good communication from the owners too. Only slight downside is there are a few unfinished asthetic bits in the property but this did not effect our experience at all.
This is our second visit & it felt like home from home. Everything in the house i.e. bedding, toweling, crockery & glasses are plentiful. We hope to go back next year.

A very well equipped and comfortable house with a lot of thought put into the facilities and some nice special touches such as a plentiful supply of herbal teas and a sweet jar. Plenty of parking space for 23 cars and I would say that you really need a car to get to the beach front and the main restaurants area. But this did not detract from a lovely stay, and thanks to Nicola for quickly sorting out a problem with the downstairs shower temperature.

Probably the best equipped holiday rental we have ever stayed in we were short of nothing. I strongly recommend Tynemouth and this house is spacious and the owner is very attentive.

Gorgeous house, absolutely immaculate and beautifully decorated. Lovely garden and summerhouse in a quiet area, overlooking allotments. Friendly owners, who dropped us a welcome text and left us a very helpful information pack. So much to see and do in the area, with a beautiful beach a few minutes up the road and absolutely stunning scenery in surrounding area. This was our first visit to this part of the country and we are already looking at rebooking this house so we can return.

Lovely property with good facilities. Very comfortable and cosy atmosphere. Pretty gardens with outside furniture. Close to amenities including a large supermarket and petrol station. Tynemouth is a lovely town on the coast with some great restaurants and bars. Owners very responsive and helpful Cons whilst it wasnt an issue for us the lack of a dishwasher might put some renters off
Had a really nice stay at this property. Some really nice welcome touches from the owners. The property is well equipped for all your needs, beds are very comfortable, towels were really good quality. Garden is a good size and a bit of a sun trap during the day. Would recommend.
