Winding Wheel cottage was a delightful holiday home. So cosy and warm with great space. The enclosed front and rear gardens were so good for my two dogs. Was not expecting it to be decorated for Christmas so that was a joy. Along with the most super welcome hamper our stay here was terrific. My dogs particularly loved the beach and cliff top walks right opposite. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat .

Amazing spacious property. Comfy beds & everything we needed. Fantastic location. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. We will definitely be coming back!!

Winding Wheel Cottage, what can I say? Location Literally a stones throw from the beach. Far enough from the hubub to be quiet but supermarkets within 10 minutes drive. Right next door to a pub and chippy, heaven. House itself What an incredible property. Very large and well equipped kitchen diner, large comfortable sitting room, 2 double bedrooms and a single and the master bedroom is literally a suite in itself. Can't recommend this property highly enough, will definitely be back

The location is wonderful, 2 minutes walk to the beach where both the kids and the dog loved. The cottage is super comfortable, extremely clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for an excellent holiday.

This is an amazing property. everything you could need is available. Space is a premium, modern and in a quiet location next to a superb beach. We have to say this one of our best properties used through Sykes. Would recommend for comfort and views. Enjoyed our stay and some great walks. The amazing welcome pack was also a bonus.

Really great place. Lots of especially nice features in the house such as the deep set windows and the original stone work visible in some parts. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed for cooking and baking. All the rooms were very nicely decorated with lots of nice finishing touches. The front and back garden areas were great too.. completely secure for the dogs this can be difficult to find It is in such a great spot too.. the dogs had a great time at the beach and the locals are really friendly. Love this house! We have stayed in Blyth for several years and this is our favourite place yet, we booked again with two days of being there. Its very large, very well equipped and clean. Close to the beach and dog friendly. We couldnt fault it. Only thing I would add is some milk to the welcome pack, and a vegetable peeler for the kitchen. Thats it! Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at Winding Wheel Cottage. The cottage was spacious and the outdoor seating areas felt private, despite the close proximity of our neighbours. The kitchen was lovely and when we were not off sightseeing, we spent a lot of our time sitting round the table, eating and playing games. The beach was awesome and we had many enjoyable morning and evening walks.

A very spacious, luxurious and wellequipped property next to a lovely beach. The house had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack provided by the owners was well received thank you! Lovely and friendly neighbours. Walking straight out of the front door and on to the beach was great for the grand kids and dog who spent most of the time there and would definitely visit again. We had a brilliant time celebrating an 80th birthday. The cottage exceeded expectations by being so much closer to the beach than we thought, pub next door and right on the England Pathway for lovely walks up and down the coast. After a long drive to get there we had some car free days by catching the bus round the corner. The cottage was lovely great spaces to all be together or split off if we wanted. Would def book again.

The property provides the wow factor both on arrival outside and entry. Really wellappointed, we had absolutely everything we needed with a generous welcome pack, dishwasher and washing machine. Ideal for people with dogs as both the front and rear gardens are completely enclosed and the beach is just over the road. Northumberland is probably the best area we've visited in terms of dogfriendly beaches and attractions. If you love walking this is a great base and you can also easily access the Northumberland Coastal Path. The garden is a beautiful afternoon sun trap so whether you're looking to be out and about Alnwick, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Seahouses and many more or to just relax in beautiful surroundings, then we would highly recommend this cottage.

Absolutely lovely. .all needs catered for. One brought a air fryer with us and didn't even need it as one was provided! Very spacious and in a perfect spot. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to return. I do think that a surface cleaner and handwash would be useful and 2 tea towels rather than the one. Much appreciated and very thankful we got to experience this beautiful cottage

This is a wonderful property. We stayed in the Xmas break and it had the added benefit of being dressed beautifully for Xmas. We loved it so much that we rebooked whilst we were still away. That speaks for itself. It has everything you need, layout is well thought out and loads of space for everyone in the family to find there own space whilst still enjoying being together. The location of the property is over perfect for exploring Northumberland or just going for frequent works along the beach.

Winding wheel cottage was all and more than shown, the photos don't do the place justice. A beautiful well appointed cottage. We couldn't find any scisors in the kitchen, but that's just us being picky. The rooms are fantastic and the whole stay was when we went out we were glad to be back. Fabulous stay welcome packs, yes packs, all over if we can book it again we will be back. We were sorry to come home and leave sutch a nice cottage.

This was a wonderful cottage. It was so clean and warm. The showers were amazing and the furnishings were so comfortable. It had almost everything we needed. The kitchen is missing tongs, a whisk, and scissors and ideally the knives need sharpening. Having the beach nearby was brilliant and even our arthritic Labrador reverted to puppyness which was just a joy to see. Thank you so much x

We had a lovely few days at the cottage. It was very spacious and furnished to a high standard with everything you could need. We enjoyed the proximity to a fabulous beach for the dogs and also the Northumberland coastal path is nearby with lots of other pathways nearby for walking, running or cycling. It was a part of Northumberland we hadn't explored before but we would definitely return to the area and the house.

Winding Wheel Cottage is a wonderful venue. It was well appointed, extremely clean and very comfortable. The hosts have got to considerable trouble to make sure your stay is memorable.

Lovely property with fantastic sea views. The beach is fab for a walk with the dogs. Easy access to other parts of Northumberland and the pub next door serves fantastic food and is a good atmosphere. Beautiful house. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Good place to start from to explore Northumberland. Love the fact that the beach was across the road. A clean sandy beach that goes in forever, the dogs were in there element. There was a very well stocked welcoming basket with alsorts if everything in it. A nice touch was when the owner made a quick visit to make sure we were ok and that we had found out how to work everything. A pub right next door, what more could you want.
