The Hemmel was the most beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious house for our party of 8 adults and one baby. It was superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The quality of the furnishings and linens was excellent. Location was perfect with a footpath walk directly to the sea and a.short stroll to the centre of the village for pubs and shops. Highly recommended

Stunning property, great space for a large family gathering and good location for Beadnell Towers and the Beach. Heating issue resolved quickly with maintenance although master en suite shower still running cold when we left no real issue as house bathroom next door. Would recommend!

This house was ideal for a family get together. The eating and living area upstairs worked well. The house was well equipped with kitchen utensils, towels etc. The house is located on the edge of the village and just a 15 minute walk from the shop. It was very quiet. Our only complaint is that the temperature regulator on the shower in the main bedroom was stuck on hot which made the shower unusable....this problem had been highlighted by the previous occupant. Otherwise a lovely peaceful stay in a beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hemmel. The house is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was perfect for our large family group. We loved its location as the last house of the delightful village of Beadnell . We spent a lot of time enjoying the balcony with its lovely views over the fields. We'd love to return.

It had everything we were looking for and more in terms of space, beautiful surroundings and accessibility to local amenities.The house is stunning and our family of 7 adults and 2 children had a wonderful stay. Good pub at the bottom of the road serving excellent food too. I would suggest getting the owners number prior to arrival as the contact with Sykes was very poor when trying to get information prior to arrival. 10 out of 10 for the house etc tho.

Just enjoyed a wonderful stay with family over the bank holiday weekend. The location is superb for the beach and there are plenty of local facilities within walking distance. The property itself is well fitted out and has superior furnishings to usual rentals. It offers very comfortable facilities in both the living and bedroom areas. We had an issue with the hot water but it was sorted within 2 hours by the owner. Would definitely recommend

Excellent stay in a beautiful location! We all had such a wonderful weekend and loved how close we were to the beach and local pubs which were both short walks away. Heating and water went off at one point but this was very quickly resolved as the wind had blew out the flame on the boiler and Steve sorted it quickly. Thank you, were all missing being in such a lovely peaceful place.

What a fabulous Easter weekend we had at The Hemmel. Party of 7, 5 adults and 2 children, loved spending time together in this wonderful home. Welcome basket was a fabulous way to start the weekend and had lots of treats for both the adults and children. Living areas were comfortable and we enjoyed being able to sit in the different areas outside as well the children loved playing Boules which we found in the garden! Bedrooms were very comfortable with ample space for us all. Beadnell is a beautiful place to visit with pub, restaurant and the beach all within easy walking distance. We will most definitely be back to stay again in the future. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay in what is a beautiful property. Very comfortable and very well stocked with everything you need and a Welcome pack that was much appreciated. Within a short walk of two pubs that serve lovely meals and a 10 minute walk to the beach. All in all a very good choice

We have just returned from a glorious week at The Hemmel. A gorgeous house ideally located in Beadnell on the beautiful Northumberland coast. All creature comforts catered for to a very high standard. It was so lovely we have already booked for a fortnight next year.

Lovely place, had a great time. A couple of issues as follows, moved from main bedroom to twin room because lack of blind on top window meant too light in early morning, also the room never got warm, in fact it was cold. Ensure bathroom in twin room worked fine but there was always an odour Door from kitchen to balcony was difficult to lock the door needs adjustment

The beach was just a short walk away as was the pub , The craster arms which we ate in a couple of times which offered great service and food .. The location was great offering short drives to seahouses , Bamburgh and surrounding areas . I would definitely love to return.

Amazing property. 1010. The owners have put a lot of effort and thought into the property's finish right down to the coasters. It's very unique and with no cheap tack around. The bedrooms have a great finish and also showers. The kitchen is smartly finished with granite tops and a spare fridge for all the extras. The large drying roomlaundry area was a dream, particularly with the many kids and guests staying. Huge kitchen table to take everyone for dinner. Comfy sofa in the evening to put your feet up in front of the log fire. Great location with a short walk 2 mins to a pub and a couple of restaurants with great food. There is a park for kids nearby, and the beach is within walking distance. We didn't use our car once until we left. I have already booked here again.

Nothing but positive to feedback. The house is lovely. We were 6 adults and 4 kids ranging from 11 to 16 and all had a fantastic time. Plus a dog! The house is so well appointed, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. While we weren't able to take advantage of the outside seating areas during our stay as the weather wasn't good enough, they looked lovely and would tempt us back for a 'summer' holiday. The location is great on the edge of the village but accessible for the beach, and great walks in both directions on the beach to Newton and up to Seahouses. We had the most minor glitch when we arrived in that the two truckles weren't made up as the booking had been miscounted. The owner was there within 10 minutes and added to an already very generous welcome package Back to my original comment, we couldn't fault a thing and hope we'll be able to stay again sometime in the future. We wanted a large house for seven family members with good amenities and in a good location. The Hemmel was just perfect. Beautifully furnished and very spacious.

We cannot fault the property. The layout was ideal for my family, six adults and four children between 13 and 5, with the &39upside down&39 layout being unusual, but perfect for us. The location was also perfect for us with the lovely beach being close as was the children&39s play park. An added bonus was the countryside around the property with horses and Alpacas next door.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property. Our group of family and friends included ages one up to seventy years. A huge kitchen table was brilliant for family meals. Comfy beds and lots of bathrooms added to the feeling of luxury. Beadnell beach was an added bonus.
