Whimhowe Reviews

Beautiful house in a great location Plenty of room Lots of parking Really ... Beautiful house in a great location Plenty of room Lots of parking Really liked the little complementary boxes and the box of chocolates very thoughtful
We had to vacate our original holiday home due to circumstances beyond our control and Whimhowe was one of the listed alternatives. As a multi generational family we found the accommodation perfect for our needs. The house was spacious well equipped and warm. The view from the sitting room window was quite spectacular. The neighbours are extremely friendly and helpful. A point worth making is that Sat nav only directs you to the end of Victoria Road. We had to ask a householder for directions from there. Whimhowe is very central for visiting the wider Lake District and a lovely haven to return to at the end of a busy day. Thank you.

Fantastic accommodation, very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds with quality bedding and lovely sofas. Very well appointed throughout. We will return.
Nicole
We loved staying here! The house is so lovely and fully kitted out. This is the most child friendly place we've stayed at. We really appreciated the extra touches.
A beautiful property with fabulous views. Perfect for our weekend trip with three generations of family. Very clean and well equipped. Only issue was with the main oven which tripped the fuse box a couple of times so had to manage with the small top oven which was tricky when cooking pizzas for 8! Had a great time though and would certainly consider visiting again.
