Sunnycote Reviews

The owner wasn't expecting us not a problem we worked it out between us to make it happen. Loved the fact the it was very rustic so didn't feel on edge with children running about I mean this in a nice way. For the size of the house and the people it can cater for, kitchen isn't very big, dish washer works but the inside holders are broke, the dining area it very cluttered but we got over it. Bedrooms bathrooms fab, beds comfy. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. P S the garden was very muddy luckily we brought old towels for the dogs paws.

This is a beautiful old house, really well situated but from a comfort perspective it fell below our expectations. The main issue was the heating. We could not get the house heated to a reasonable temperature. Raising the thermostat made little difference and at best the radiators felt luke warm. And the bathrooms were Baltic. Another thing we found was that a couple of the gas rings on the hob would not light. Less vital but a nice to have would have been Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms Hair dryers For longer stays a washing machine and tumble dryer would be of benefit for big families who because of the outstandingly beautiful area may end up with muddy or sandy clothing
Plug sockets falling off walls, no access to the internet even with password given and when we turned up the draining board was full aswell as the dishwasher with pots. No instructions or welcome pack or number to contact of where we were ment to leave rubbish and used bedding and towels or how to get access to the WiFi. The beds were extremely comfy though.
Good old property. Spacious and well furnished.
Sharon
We had a good holiday. There was plenty of space for all of us. The local shop was very close and we liked the village. There were lots of places for us to walk the dogs, we enjoyed the surrounding area. The only thing I would have liked was a house book, which is normally available. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at sunny cote again
The cottage has a lovely feel and has everything you need in it. Communication was excellent. Its a great space to take family and friends. We had 8 adults, 5 kids, a baby, two dogs and had no issues with space. Its in a fantastic location just a short walk from the beach and pub. Would highly recommend staying there and Im sure we will be booking again.
