Hastings House, Seahouses

We recently stayed at Hastings House with a group of five couplesand it was absolutely lovely. Each bedroom had its own ensuite or nearby shower, making everything super convenient. The house was stocked with all the utensils, crockeryand glasses we could need-really thought of everything! The hot tub was a real highlightand the location was perfect for strolling into town for shops, eateriesand the harbour. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at this house and honestly, it worked perfectly for our group of friends. The layout is really practical, especially with five spacious bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms, so no one's waiting around. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and gadgets we could think ofand having two dishwashers was a real lifesaver after meals. The dining area was lovely for everyone to gather around and chat. What really stood out were the stunning views from upstairs - we loved waking up to the sea and the rolling farmland, plus there's a charming stableyard nearby. Small touches like the dressing gowns in rooms without en-suites and the thoughtful welcome pack made us feel right at home. We appreciated the attention to detail, which made a difference during our stay. A few things to bear in mind before booking - the hot tub is only available from 9am to 9pm, which was a bit of a let-down since we were hoping to use it later in the evening. Dogs need to be crated if left alone, even though the downstairs is all stone floorsand there's no enclosed grass area for pets, only a patch outside the front. Also, charging electric cars isn't allowed, despite there being no nearby alternatives. Lastly, check-out is at 9amand you need to strip the beds, which felt a tad early for a holiday. Seahouses itself is absolutely lovely - loads to do and seeand the food options are fantastic no matter what you fancy. We highly recommend the boat trip to the Farne Islands and walking along the beach to Bamburgh - both were brilliant. The house's location is spot on, being just a short stroll to both the town centre and the beach, so we couldn't have asked for a better spot to base ourselves!

The place was stunning, really had everything we needed. The location was perfect - only a short 10-minute stroll to the town. Plus, the courtesy tray with treats was a lovely touch, made us feel really welcomed. We'd definitely return!

The cottage was really well set up, perfect for groups with comfy beds. Having two dishwashers and loads of cups made everything easier. Loved the hot tub and the great location!

We loved this place! Perfect for big gatheringsand the location is spot on for beaches and sightseeing. Highly recommend!

The house's location is fantastic, just a short walk into Seahouses. The downstairs bedroom is a bit cramped for storage.

We felt really at home here, with the house being warm, roomyand fully equipped. The secure walled garden was a bonusand we enjoyed a lovely, comfortable stay overall. Would definitely come back!
