Clover Cottage Reviews

Andrew
This accommodation was perfect for our family. We were in the area for a family wedding. Lots of space, garden was enclosed and brilliant for the kids. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was very well kitted out we even put the blender and coffee pod machine to use! Living space was ideal for our big family too, plenty space to sit and then relax. The house felt very quiet set well back off main roads, just the quiet country lane passing. Proximity to Corbridge, BrockSbushes and the venue at Halton Grove was ideal too. Would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, warm, modern cottage. Excellent shower, beautiful location, comfortable beds. A few niggles I tried to contact you several times about some issues using your given numbers, never received any response. We replaced the battery in the kitchen clock. You asked us to put all used linens in a laundry bag, but there wasnt one. The vacuum cleaner bag was completely full, no replacement that we found, but we did our best to empty it so we could clean. You asked us to clean before we left, but there were no cleaning products to clean with. We ran out of toilet roll given the sceptic system you would be advised to supply your preferred products to avoid problems

We have just departed Clover Cottage after a lovely week away with family! The property was stunning, very big and perfect for our party. It was modern, tidy and warm. The beds were extremely comfy and the bathrooms lovely and clean. The only thing that is stopping me from turning this into a 5 star rating, is how equipped the property was. We felt it lacked some of the basics tea towels, larger bath towels, cleaning products and dishwasher tabs even if there had been one for a load a day, that would have made a difference, instead there was just one. There was also quite an extensive list of cleaning operations to do on departure which, with small children around and an early departure time to adhere to, was a little stressful! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and exploring the area surrounding Bingfield has been a joy.
A beautiful cottage but attention needed to resolve some issues A deep clean is needed as whilst the place is superficially clean attention is required to bring it up to a good standard we vacuumed under the sofa cushions as we dropped a crochet hook down the sofa as they were pretty disgusting with crumbs and rubbish, dust in corners and marked window frames, dirty mirrors etc No hand towels were provided The pillows need replacing as they are lumpy and flat Bed linen was very creased The oven is filthy One dining chair was coming apart at the joints The milk shelf in the fridge was already broken when we checked in and fell apart resulting in our milk going all over the floor. It asks us to clean the property but there are not sufficient cleaning products to do this with, only kitchen bench cleaner The fridge slider mechanism that keeps the fridge door to the cupboard door broke but this is a design fault of Howdens as I have the same issue with my fridge this and the milk shelf were reported to Sykes by telephone
Brilliant property with stunning views and close to all the major towns and historical sites along Hadrians Wall. We had a great time.
Superb holiday home with all the comforts you might need, including some you might not expect like a vase! The rural location is part of the charm, so peaceful and quiet. A little more information about local amenities would be welcome. I do think the EV charging issue needs to be resolved some time in the future

Had a lovely stay over New year in your beautiful cottage with all amenities ... Had a lovely stay over New year in your beautiful cottage with all amenities very clean and well equipped and ideally located for nice walks in Northumberland will definitely be back
The cottage is beautiful and suited our party of 6 adults and 2 children perfectly. The welcome pack was a nice touch,. The beds were comfortable, the house was very warm for a December stay and offered just what we wanted. The Christmas decorations were pretty ad much appreciated. We were slightly disappointed by the level if cleanliness the oven certainly hadn't been cleaned for sometime, we found cooking dishes with oil still in them, a pair if old pants was found down the side of one of the single beds and the house was generally dusty. There was also no oven gloves making cooking a full Christmas dinner a bit hazardous, We also found the tone of instruction not reuests! in the handbook a bit off putting. We had a good time, just a shame about the few niggles.

Clover cottage is a brilliant place in which to relax, surrounded by wonderful countryside views. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated. All the space flows nicely together and, for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler, it was perfect. We would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Lovely cottage, with everything you need. Beautiful area and views. Plenty of room for eight.
What a beautiful and clever purposebuilt barn definitely more of a barn vibe than a cottage? !, and that view across the hills.Wow! Nice welcome touches with the goodie basket, local info, board games and even bows on the toilet rolls! but the best thing given we had two toddlers was being on the one level plus finding that all the doors, drawers and loo lids were softclosing. Added to that a nonsqueaky floor throughout it made such a difference to us as individuals being up and about at different times. Everything really was of a high standard regarding comfort and decor and we all loved the local scenery pictures. Night lights in corridors very thoughtful, as were having flatscreens in every room all a complete surprise. As I put in your visitor book the place did everything it says on the tin! Thank you. Utterly lovely property. We found this having been let down by a competitor's grubby place and therefore booked and arrived on the same day. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable sofas and beds and in a perfect location it's so quiet! Very well equipped, 3 great bathrooms 2 ensuite and a fabulous kitchen. Very close to Corbridge which is gorgeous with some great restaurants and close to the larger Hexham too. I very rarely say I will go back to a place, but this one I will.
We had a wonderful stay in Clover Cottage. It is wellequipped, spacious and comfortable in an idyllic rural setting with fabulous views. We wont hesitate to book again next time we visit the area.
A very comfortable and well equipped holiday home. This was our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as the first time.

Restrictions on Water heating meant we had to stagger the showers There was 8 of us staying I ended up having a couple of cold showers Grass had not been cut for a while so kids could not play any ball games Had to leave the on suite window open due to the smell of the drain Other than that it was a lovely place to stay

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. My elderly parents thought a shower mat in one of the showers would be a good idea, as the shower floors were a bit slippy. Welcome basket was a lovely touch. Everything was of the standard expected from a high spec cottage.
A delightful property. It was in a good location and very comfortable. We would definitely return. Only slight niggle was the variable water pressure in the showers otherwise everything was excellent.

Clover Cottage is a very clean and comfortable home. It is very peaceful with beautiful views of the countryside. It is well equipped with everything you need for self catering. There are plenty of places to visit all within a short drive. I would highly recommend Clover Cottage for a relaxing holiday.
