This is a fabulous cottage and the views are spectacular looking from the windows. Well equipped the new kitchen with new appliances and a lovely new bathroom. Having two sitting rooms with tvs is ideal if you have older children. My only complaint would be that the TVs are very basic Smart TVs w out of be a bonus. We would certainly book this accommodation again.

Ideal location to explore the area. Views really fabulous, quiet and lots of space. House well equipped, comfortable, warm and very clean and tidy. Minor issues Ref a previous customer review, very little soundproofing between floors and rooms and we had issues with shower temp getting too hot and not being able to adjust with control. Overall a great place, would recommend.

Whitestacks was a wonderful place to stay, I would absolutely recommend it. The view and location were outstanding. Bamburgh village is beautiful, the castle looks amazing and your view of it is spectacular the pictures on the listing can't capture how fantastic the views are!, the beach is wide, clean and so pretty, and a short walk away. We walked there everyday. The house was perfectly clean, the beds incredibly comfortable and the house had all the bits and pieces you could need, including all kinds of extras from games, books and body boards to a washing line and pegs. It was excellent to have a drive and not worry about parking. There is so much to do in the wider area. Only negative points the stairs are incredibly creaky and the house is not very soundproof between floors, and the water pressure is terrible the information folder does say that the shower will be effected if you turn on appliances but it literally stops if someone turns on a tap. However, these are 'heads up' points only overall, it is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed and Northumberland is amazing.

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing week at Whiteshack with family. Whiteshack is a lovely four bed house, well set up with all that we required to enjoy our holoiday. As descibed the property is perfectly situated in Bamburgh,with a very short walk to the beach, pubs, restaurants, cafes, Bamburgh Castle, Grace Darling museum, gardens, shops. Very good base for easy travel to neighbouring places of interest and walks. Definately recommend as a place to stay

This was our fourth stay at Whitestacks, and weve already booked again for next year! The stunning views, excellent amenities, and perfect location make it the ideal base for enjoying beautiful Bamburgh. I especially love the new chair in the porchthough I wish there were two, as its our favourite spot to sit and admire the castle, watch the wildlife, and take in both the sunrise and sunset. From the moment you arrive, its peaceful and relaxing.

The accommodation and location are perfect with outstanding views of Bamburgh Castle and surrounding countryside . The property has everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation . Just a short stroll into Bamburgh and its amenities .

We loved our stay here there was everything we needed, the views were great , especially at night when the castle was lit up. J It is ideally situated with just a short walk into Bambrough and the castle.

Lovely property. We had a power cut on the last full day of our holiday and the owner was very supportive checking that we were aware of it, that we were managing ok, that the local museum was providing free hot drinks etc. We will definitely be booking again when we decide to revisit the area.

This is our 3rd visit to Whitestacks and already booked for next year. The minute you drive into the drive you feel relaxed and welcome. The cottage and gardens are amazing with excellent views of the castle. This year we saw the Northern lights and found the best place to see the stars in the back garden. You have everything you need for a relaxing holiday and can't wait for next year.

Location is everything! The site photograph actually underplays the awesome views of the castle and surroundings across to the sea. It is very convenient for the main street of Bamburgh and easy to access the coast for pleasures and practicalities, yet beautifully quiet. The house was very spick and span, spacious with well updated bathroom and kitchen and comfortable rooms. It had all we needed for a lovely stay.

A great house with wonderful views of Bamburgh Castle to the front and fields full of sheep to the side and rear. The photos don't do the house justice, the kitchen, bathroom, and downstairs WC have all been replaced recently. It has been recently decorated too. We were a party of 5 across 3 generations. The house is well equiped and comfortable. The main bedroom has fab views of Bamburgh Castle from the bed and the sunrises were spectacular. We would definitely recommend Whitestacks and would book again if we return to Northumberland.

Had a very pleasant stay, Overall very clean, relaxing and Twin beds comfortable. Peacefull and views excellent! Very minor issues 1 Only sun lounge 3 seater settee comfortable, ALL other Brown settees and armchairs seemed to be over polished and meant we kept sliding forwards. 2 Big Hole appearing in driveway where public KEEP turning their vehicles, even when we had the post in place. 3 Small welcome pack basics would have been nice.

Excellant as usual however a blue handtowel was very heavily marked having been laundered but not checked for cleanliness, Will be here again next year dv!

A very comfortable and well appointed cottage in an unbeatable location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with 3 generations under one roof! Lots of space with two living rooms used the large spacious sun room off the kitchen as a play room. A real home from home, equipped with everything we needed. Great garden too in a prime location, overlooking the castle. Great family memories to look back on. Loved it!! Highly recommended & would definitely return.

Great property in a perfect location with beautiful views in all directions. Really clean and comfortable, and so close to the centre of the village but peaceful at the same time. Especially loved the daily visits from the bunnies. Would definitely recommend.

This was an unbelievable property. We all fell in love with it. The views were magnificent and the proximity of the village was so convenient. We also enjoyed the wildlife on our doorstep sheep, rabbits, hares and foxes. There was plenty of room for all six of us and we were lucky with the weather so we&rsquore able to make use of the picnic table and chairs outside. Simply a wonderful week.

I like the simplicity of this property. The lack of ornaments is beneficial if there are toddlers running around. The property is very warm and cosy the heating system is incredibly efficient. It is lovely and spacious with uninterrupted country side views to the side of the property and a fabulous view of the castle to the front. I enjoyed being able to stroll into Bamburgh centre in a few minutes and also to the coast. Perfect for our family, we didn&39t want to leave.
