Turning Tide Reviews

The main ensuite was very dirty. I had taken some cleaning supplies and we cleaned it before using but it needed a deep clean! That was very disappointing. The rest of the house was adequate but really not done to a good standard. We fixed the curtain rail as it was hanging off. We had no television for the entire time we were there. We couldnt get any normal channels for the news etc. I did contact the office someone was ment to contact us to arrange to clean the house and sort out the tv but nothing came out of it. We tried not to let it spoil our holiday. We were very disappointed with the service.
Great accommodation in a very convenient location for the beach! The house was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable! Thank you!
The property was not clean when we arrived. There was a lot of dust and the floor had not been washed. The banister upstairs clearly had not been cleaned in some time given the amount of dust on it. Also, some of the cushions and throws smelt of dog. There are three bathrooms in the property and none of them had any soap available. No one brings three separate hand wash soaps on holiday so I would have expected some soap to be available. The TV was poor quality for such a property. One of the lamps in the living room doesn't work and the main bedroom window door was unlocked with no key making the property insecure. The electric shower had very little pressure behind it. The property was over priced for the facilities provided.

Lovely bright and airy house very close to beach and tennis court with all the facilities we needed including tennis rackets, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a couple of beach chairs. Beadnell is beautiful as are all the nearby beaches. Plenty of nice seafood restaurants locally and in Bamburgh.
We have lost a Tiffany silver heart necklace at the property. Name Lara engraved on one side. Can you please confirm whether this has been discovered and arrangement to obtain its return. Thank you
Rebecca
A fantastic stay at Turning Tide for our family. The house had everything we needed and more! Weve stayed in a few of the houses at Beadnell Point, and this one has stunning views of coast line from the upstairs seating area what a treat!
Michael
Hi nice property but two issues 1. The hot water system is defective so when hot water is run on the upper level eg running a bath it causes hot water to spurt out of the kitchen sink 2. A minor point but there was no starter pack for the wood burning stove as advertised
Lovely and spacious accommodation that was clean and well presented throughout. Facilities for cooking and dining were excellent. As a family of seven it served our various needs extremely well.
Turning Tide is a fantastic place to stay. It has everything you need to make your stay a fantastic one having everything you need. Highly recommend
Great location, close to a beautiful, long, sandy beach. The properties in this private community are arranged to minimise the degree of overlooking other adjacent properties. Inside Turning Tide, it is as immaculate as the outside view suggests. The modern decor is wonderful and the pictures are well chosen and a treat to look at and study. I particularly loved the painting of Grace Darling above the fireplace as well as the anglers with Bamburgh Castle in the background. The house is extremely well equipped with enough crockery and cutlery to minimise dishwasher use. All in all, a joy and privilege to stay there. My thanks to the owners.
Josephine
Absolutely stunning property everything you could need and more. Lovely location lots to see and do.
